The West Elks AVA, the highest in North America, is the one region in Colorado to successfully cultivate Pinot Noir. Our unique location balances the climatic extremes of high mountain peaks and dry desert, giving our wines their distinctive character.
We practice dry farming, encouraging deeper root growth to access rich nutrients, which enhances the wine's complexity. By avoiding herbicides and pesticides, we maintain a natural, untainted environment, ensuring the purity of our vineyard and the health of our ecosystem—benefiting both the land and your wine experience.
All these efforts allow our Pinot Noir to truly express the unique terroir of our region, creating a wine that is authentically and uniquely ours.
I stopped drinking wine years ago because of headaches they gave me. I drank your sample bottle and began to love and appreciate wine again.
The best Pinot Noir I’ve ever had 💯

As winemakers, our belief is simple: growing in an environment that produces the highest quality fruit results in the highest quality wine. Our grapes are some of those grown closest to the sun. With a deep connection to the water table, we farm without irrigation and embrace natural and sustainable growing practices without pesticides or herbicides. We humbly accept our role as stewards and look to produce wine that fully expresses the natural complexity of our world.
